ACTIVITIES & CLUBS
Summit Academy North Elementary School provides opportunities for students to pursue their interests and realize their potential through the following activities:
NATIONAL ELEMENTARY HONOR SOCIETY (NEHS)
NEHS gives 4th and 5th graders the chance to come together with students who share their commitment to academic excellence, personal responsibility, school service and community leadership. To become inducted into NEHS, students must fill out an application, write an essay, get references and meet academic and discipline standards. Students meet monthly with a teacher/advisor to discuss leadership opportunities and engage in community service projects. NEHS prepares students for NJHS in middle school, NHS in high school, and even college.
JOB CORP
Job Corp gives 4th and 5th grade students the opportunity to take on various real-life jobs at school. Students fill out applications and get references to apply for available jobs, which include tour guide, school store manager, mail delivery specialist, banker and more. Students love taking on these important leadership roles in our school.
